Meet Our Staff

Barbra Curtis, RDH — Business Manager & Hygienist

When I was younger I knew that I wanted to do something in the health field. I wanted to be able to go to work knowing that I could improve someone’s health in one way or another. I met my husband the first year I was starting college and he already knew what he wanted to do for a living, be a dentist! While trying to decide which direction to go for my career he suggested I look into dentistry. To make a long story short, I’ve been in the dental field since 2001 and I can truly say that my job gives me the opportunity to help improve the lives of my patients.

We are blessed with three wonderful children, Julia, Olivia, and Victor. When I am not busy with my family or work I like to sew, read, exercise, and travel. We are very active and love to ski in Utah in the winter, and we love to bike and be outside in Minnesota in the summer. I am grateful that we are able to have a business in this community and to be able to meet such wonderful people each week. It is my goal to make coming to the dentist a better experience for our patients and to give each of them the best care we have to offer.

My name is Marisa and I am one of the Dental Hygienists at Cambridge Family Dental. I graduated from Argosy University and I absolutely love what I do! I have been fascinated with dentistry for as long as I can remember and I am so glad I took a leap of faith and decided to make it my career. I feel so grateful to be a part of such a great team and an office where patients are not just treated as numbers.

I grew up in North Branch and currently reside there with my fiancé and our little boy. I love being able to work in a community that is so close to home. When I have free time, I love being outside, going up north and doing all of the typical Minnesota activities!

                                                                                  April Mattson–RDH

I began my career as a dental hygienist in 2006. Prior to this, I attended college at the University of Minnesota Morris and St. Cloud State University completing my bachelors degree in Biology and St. Cloud Technical College for my dental hygiene degree. I am a Minnesota native but spent much of my younger childhood growing up in upper Michigan, finally moving back to Minnesota to graduate high school in Elk River.

My husband and I currently reside in Princeton with our two energetic and loving boys, Jack and Max! When we are not running the boys between school and activities we enjoy escaping to our remote cabin in Ontario to spend time fishing, hiking, snowmobiling and hunting! I also enjoy gardening, exercising, baking, and reading when time allows!

I love my career as a dental hygienist and feel very fortunate to have been employed by Cambridge Family Dental! I have built my career based on the principles of compassion, integrity, and quality of care…all of which I have seen continually in this office! I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful team that truly cares about each and every person that walks through the door and does so much for its patients and the community! I look forward to continually expanding my knowledge and appreciation for dentistry and meeting many more wonderful people!
